Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Mix wet ingredients: Whisk melted butter, sugars, vanilla extract, and eggs.
  • Combine dry ingredients: Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto the cookie sheet using a cookie scoop.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Chill the dough for thicker cookies.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them soft.
